This particular Manfrotto 290 Series Kit consists of the 294 aluminium tripod as well as the 128RC Micro Fluid Video Head. The 294 tripod is larger than other Manfrotto tripods in the 290 family yet still provides a combination of lightweight aluminium construction with durability. The legs are in 3 sections and feature tension-adjustable locking levers for maximum stability and dead-level set up in studio or uneven outdoor terrain. Tension-adjustment also provides the additional benefit of counteracting long-term wear and tear as each leg tension can be independently tightened to act against looseness through friction-wear. A rapid-adjust centre column and two-position leg angle adjustment yields maximum versatility and flexibility while the built-in rubber anti-shock collar adds an element of safety, protecting your camera if the column is not locked.
